Like the three previous missions, the goal of this research was to identify and document NBS targeting nature-based soil, water, and land management practices that align with the main investment components of World Bank projects in Congo-Brazzaville. Following this research mission, the national inventory document of NBS identified, tested, and evaluated locally was produced and is currently being validated at the next national workshop scheduled for October 2025 by the various stakeholders in Congo-Brazzaville.
This research mission was organized as part of the Urban Flood and Gully Erosion Risk Management Project in the Congo Basin, carried out by Climate Change Africa Opportunities (CCAO) and OCA Global and funded by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) and the World Bank (WB).
